Sphynx Tennis Club is a friendly, community-focused tennis club in the heart of Southport, Merseyside. Located on Ashdown Close, just off Scarisbrick New Road and near KGV Sixth Form College, we’ve been welcoming players of all ages since 1920.

Our facilities include six brand-new blue and green Tiger Turf courts with floodlights, plus a modern clubhouse built for social events and match days. We’re proud nine-time Southport & District League Division 1 Champions, a legacy of consistency and competitive spirit.

We’re home to the renowned Chris Parkes Tennis Academy, led by Head Coach Chris Parkes, with coaching also provided by Natalie Wall. From junior sessions and Ladies-Only classes to beginner coaching and social tennis, we offer something for everyone.
